F A Q about our new concept:

How it works :

We have built 7 surprising unique private huts (for 7 bedrooms) at 50 m from the B&B in our organic permaculture orchard. They are heated with a small wood stove and everything is lit with candles. There is no electricity. You sit on wooden benches and sheepskins. Each hut has its own table and bench outside. So in the summer you can eat outside, and warm up the main dish inside.

This is a very romantic “rewilding” experience, 100% corona-proof: there are no staff present. Meals and water are placed outside the hut on a storage locker. It is up to you to light the stove and the candles (unless you have opted for the pre-heating: € 15). On the ground (outside) there is a frigobox with champagne and white wine. In the hut you will find the red wine on the table.

The starters (3 small sealed verrines) are ‘shared’ at the table in your cabin. There are also special biscuits for dipping. You can heat up the main course yourself on the cooker if it is very hot. Count 10 min max for the fish and 15 for the chicken. Desserts are also waiting for you outside in the pantry.

We will be present on arrival to give you all the necessary explanations and you can always reach us by phone in case of problems. We live in the house next to Park7.

Beverages :

Sparkling and still water (1.5L)

Red and white wine

Champagne

Corkage; 13 € per pers.

The bottles are available, you only pay what you open.

When can I order my meal?

The caterer asks us to order your menu 10 days before your arrival. We close the meal orders for the next 8 days every Friday.

The JML concept menu:

Jean-Michel Loriers (@JML_concept) does us the honour of designing a 3-course menu for the Park7 cabins, including:

3 cold starters in verrines, to share with biscuits in your cabin.

A main course (either poultry for 2 persons or fish for 2 persons) to be warmed up in a cast iron skillet, on the small wood stove. Count max. 10 min for the fish, 15 min for the chicken!

Two cold desserts.

The exact ingredients vary from week to week, depending on the market and the inspiration of the Chef from JML_Concept. So we can’t give you any more details.

Food allergy?

We cannot cater for food allergies (gluten, sugar, lactose, etc.).

How should I dress?

Bring a warm coat (for the walk outside and while waiting for the stove to warm up) and above all bring good solid walking shoes, because you are eating in an orchard and the ground can be muddy. There is no need to wear elegant clothes, after all, you are in the countryside an will dine in a hut).  After dinner in the hut, please leave your shoes at the entrance, inside Park7.

Are the huts waterproof?

The huts are waterproof.

Is it warm in the hut?

The temperature can rise up to 25-30° (about 1 hour after lighting the stove), so it takes an hour to heat up the hut, please bear this in mind.

Are the cabins ‘safe’?

There is a fire extinguisher and a CO2 detector in each cabin, the door is a simple curtain that lets air through. The cabins are therefore perfectly ventilated. The table is disinfected every day with Javel bleach. There is hydroalcoholic gel at your disposal.

Light the stove and candles:

In principle you can do this yourself. It is easy and we will explain it to you when you arrive, but for the first hour you need to watch the stove ± every 10 minutes and recharge it regularly. There is plenty of wood and coal in the hut, as well as matches and zipps (in a Tupperware that has to be closed after opening, because of the humidity). In that case, please let us know what time you would like to dine in the cabin. This service is not available after 8pm or 30 minutes after your scheduled arrival time.

Can I decorate my own cabin?

If you would like to bring your own crockery, cutlery and flower arrangements, you can!

You just have to let us know by mail.

At what time should I arrive and leave the cabin?

The cabins are available from 6.30 pm . From that hour you arrive when you want. You leave whenever you want.

What if it rains?

Our cabins are waterproof.

With how many people can we eat in the hut?

Most cabins are suitable for 2 people, some are for 4 people and we have built a cabin that can accommodate a group of 6 (up to 8 max).

Dinner without booking a room?

You are obliged to book at least one room on the evening of your dinner and to stay in B&B Park 7. However, you may now invite friends into your cabin.

The JML menu in your room?

If you book the deluxe room with kitchenette (room number 1 ), you can order the JML menu and enjoy it in your room. This service is not available for other rooms.

Drinks in the cabins?

On the counter – in front of your cabin – you will find sparkling and still water. In the fridge on the floor: champagne and white wine.  In the summer the red wine is also in the fridge and in the winter the red wine is ‘chilled’ in the cabin.

How do you leave the hut?

You can let the candles and the woodstove go out naturally. There is a dustbin at your disposal. The pots and glasses / cutlery can be stored in the plastic container on the floor.

Dirty shoes

Please leave your dirty shoes (after dinner) at the entrance of the house before going to your room.

Breakfast

Breakfast 8.30-10.00: buffet in the kitchen.

Please  apply gel to your hands before helping yourself at the buffet.
